Happy National S’mores Day

I’d like s’more please.

I want s’more please. Happy National S’mores Day! S’more conjure images of campfires, toes in the sand on the beach, friends and tons of fun. I like to toast marshmallows, but not eat them, so I’m a s’mores making machine and a good person to invite to a bonfire. (My preference is chocolate covered graham crackers….mmmm goodness.)

In two days our best friends will gathering for the traditional YaYa Bonfire to send another one of our youngsters off to college, my daughter Isabella. Marshmallows and chocolate will melt and tears will flow. I think my chocolate covered graham crackers are the perfect accompaniment to this s’mores martini from The Food Network.
