Happy National French Fry Day

yardhouse fries

My vote for best fries ever.

I’ve told you in a previous post that The Yardhouse has, in my opinion, the best burgers around. I went there a few weeks ago and had their turkey burger for the first time, also very yummy. But what was out-of-this-world was the truffle parmesan fries that came with it. Definitely worth the extra $1, these skinny, crispy little gems tasted fabulous. So good, in fact, that I brought half of them home to eat with the other half of my burger the next day. They were just as good the next day crisped under the broiler. While Googling to see if the recipe is out there, I found another fun blog, My Life as a Mrs, who loved the fries just as much as me and already came up with a recipe for them. Hers are baked, so you don’t have to feel quite as guilty. Make them for dinner tonight (and then bring them to me, please).
